Product Overview
The Huawei S5700-28C-PWR-SI-AC is a next-generation Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to meet the growing demands for high-bandwidth access and Ethernet multi-service aggregation. Built on Huawei’s new-generation high-performance hardware and the Versatile Routing Platform (VRP) software, this Layer 3 switch delivers robust performance, intelligent stacking capabilities, flexible networking options, and comprehensive security features.
The switch features 24 fixed Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which are dual-purpose combo ports that can operate as either 10/100/1000BASE-T electrical ports or 100/1000BASE-X SFP optical ports. It supports Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), enabling the switch to supply power to connected devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and surveillance cameras directly through the Ethernet cables.
With two expansion slots, the S5700-28C-PWR-SI-AC supports uplink subcards and stacking cards, offering scalability for various deployment scenarios. It is widely deployed in enterprise campus access and aggregation layers, as well as data center Gigabit access scenarios. The switch supports intelligent iStack stacking technology, which virtualizes multiple physical switches into a single logical switch, simplifying management and enhancing reliability.
