Huawei S5700-24TP-PWR-SI-AC – Product Documentation
Product Overview
The Huawei S5700-24TP-PWR-SI-AC is a Gigabit Layer 3 Ethernet switch built on a new generation of high-performance hardware and the Huawei Versatile Routing Platform (VRP). It is equipped with 24 x 10/100/1000BASE-T ports, 4 of which are dual-purpose combo ports that support either 10/100/1000BASE-T electrical connectivity or 100/1000BASE-X SFP optical connectivity. The switch provides PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus) functionality, with 20 PoE+ ports capable of delivering up to 370W of PoE power to powered devices (PDs).
Designed for enterprise campus networks, the S5700-24TP-PWR-SI-AC can serve as an access or aggregation switch, or as a Gigabit access switch in Internet data centers. It integrates advanced technologies in reliability, security, and energy conservation, helping enterprise customers build next-generation IT networks. The switch features dual hot-swappable AC power supplies for enhanced power redundancy, a rear card slot for stack card expansion, and a compact 1U form factor suitable for standard 19-inch racks.
With a switching capacity of 256 Gbps and a forwarding performance of 36 Mpps, the S5700-24TP-PWR-SI-AC delivers robust Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching capabilities, including static routing, RIPv1, RIPv2, and ECMP. It supports a comprehensive suite of features including VLANs, multicast, IPv6, QoS/ACL, and various reliability protocols such as RRPP, Smart Link, SEP, ERPS, and STP/RSTP/MSTP.
