As a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch, the S5700-52C-PWR-EI features 48 PoE+ 10/100/1000BASE-T ports that can power IP phones, wireless access points, IP cameras, and other powered devices (PDs) directly through Ethernet cables, simplifying deployment and reducing cabling costs.

The switch supports dual hot-swappable AC power modules for maximum uptime and redundancy, with each power module slot accommodating either a 500 W or 250 W power module.
