Product Overview
The Huawei S5700-52C-PWR-EI is a next-generation Layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet switch that provides highly scalable gigabit access for terminals in enterprise campus networks, and is also ideal for resilient server support and aggregation in large-scale data centers. It belongs to Huawei’s S5700-EI (Enhanced Image) series, designed for enterprise-class access and aggregation layers.
As a Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch, the S5700-52C-PWR-EI features 48 PoE+ 10/100/1000BASE-T ports that can power IP phones, wireless access points, IP cameras, and other powered devices (PDs) directly through Ethernet cables, simplifying deployment and reducing cabling costs.
The switch supports dual hot-swappable AC power modules for maximum uptime and redundancy, with each power module slot accommodating either a 500 W or 250 W power module. It offers advanced Layer 3 routing protocols including OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and VRRP, comprehensive security features, and intelligent traffic management through robust QoS capabilities.
Key advantages include redundant power architecture ensuring high availability, energy-efficient PoE+ support, advanced QoS for prioritized traffic handling, and robust security with ACLs and port isolation.
