Product Overview

The Huawei S1720-52GFR-4P-AC is a 52-port managed Gigabit Ethernet switch from the S1700 series, designed for deployment at the access layer of enterprise networks. It is a new-generation energy-saving enterprise switch featuring 48 × 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and 4 × 1000BASE-X Ethernet SFP ports.

The switch provides easy installation and maintenance methods along with rich service features to help users build secure, reliable, and high-performance networks. It delivers cost-effective packet switching capability, multi-service access capabilities, excellent extensibility, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee, powerful multicast replication, and carrier-class security. The S1700 series can be used to build ring topologies of high reliability and is applicable to various scenarios including GE access to enterprise networks, GE-to-desktop deployments, and building future-oriented IT networks for enterprises.

The S1720-52GFR-4P-AC supports intelligent upgrade features – switches can obtain version upgrade paths and download the newest versions from the Huawei Online Upgrade Platform (HOUP), with the entire upgrade process being highly automated and achieving one-click upgrade. This greatly simplifies device upgrade operations and reduces maintenance costs.

The switch features a built-in power module (non-pluggable) and a built-in fan for forced air cooling with a left-to-right airflow direction. It is ideal for small to medium-sized businesses, Internet cafes, hotels, schools, and similar Ethernet access scenarios.
