Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine CE6820H-48S6CQ-K is a next-generation, high-performance 10GE access switch purpose-built for modern data center and high-end campus network environments . As part of the CloudEngine 6800 series, this 1RU switch delivers high port density and advanced features to support the demanding requirements of cloud computing and virtualized data centers .
The switch provides 48 x 10GE SFP+ downlink ports and 6 x 40/100GE QSFP28 uplink ports, offering flexible connectivity options for high-bandwidth applications . Its advanced hardware architecture supports strict front-to-back or back-to-front airflow designs, which isolate cold and hot air channels to improve heat dissipation efficiency—making it well-suited for data center equipment rooms .
With support for M-LAG (Multi-Chassis Link Aggregation Group), the CE6820H-48S6CQ-K enables active-active redundancy across switches, ensuring seamless failover and uninterrupted service during network disruptions . The switch is also SDN-ready, supporting OpenFlow 1.3, NETCONF, VXLAN, and EVPN, allowing for automated network provisioning and simplified management through integration with OpenStack, VMware, and Huawei Agile Controller .
