Product Overview
The Huawei OceanStor 2200 V3 is an entry-level, flash-optimized enterprise storage system designed to meet the performance requirements of small- and medium-sized businesses (SMBs). It supports Online Transaction Processing (OLTP) and Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) for enterprise databases, as well as workloads including Exchange, server virtualization, and video surveillance services .
Built with a 16 Gbit/s Fibre Channel host port, PCIe 3.0 internal bus, and 12 Gbit/s SAS 3.0 disk interfaces, the system delivers enterprise-class data transmission speeds. Its flash-oriented design ensures SSD performance with sub-1ms latency . The storage system converges SAN and NAS protocols to support both block and file services on a single device, simplifying IT architecture and reducing capital expenditure .
The OceanStor 2200 V3 features the Smart and Hyper series of data management software, providing intelligent resource optimization and comprehensive data protection. With the SmartConfig tool, resources can be allocated in minutes through a simple three-step process, eliminating the need for specialized storage expertise .
