Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine S5732-H24S6Q is a next-generation enhanced all-optical Gigabit Ethernet/10GE hybrid switch from the CloudEngine S5732-H series. Built on Huawei’s unified Versatile Routing Platform (VRP), this switch integrates a comprehensive set of Intelligent Digital Network (IDN) features designed for modern campus and enterprise network deployments.
The switch delivers 20 x GE SFP ports for Gigabit fiber connectivity, 4 x 10GE SFP+ ports for 10-Gigabit uplinks or downlinks, and 6 x 40GE QSFP+ ports for high-speed uplink aggregation. It supports a forwarding performance of up to 522 Mpps and a switching capacity of 2.56/25.6 Tbps.
Key capabilities include native wireless Access Controller (AC) functionality managing up to 1,024 wireless Access Points (APs), enabling deep wired-wireless convergence. The switch supports VXLAN for network virtualization, free mobility for consistent user experience across the network, and built-in security probes for abnormal traffic detection, encrypted traffic threat analysis, and network-wide threat deception. It also features iPCA (Packet Conservation Algorithm for Internet) for real-time packet loss detection and SVF (Super Virtual Fabric) for simplified network management.
The CloudEngine S5732-H24S6Q is ideally suited for deployment as a core switch in small-sized campus networks, as an aggregation or access switch in medium- to large-sized campus networks, or as an access switch in data centers. The switch supports 1+1 power backup for enhanced reliability.
