Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine S2318TP-EI-DC (formerly Quidway S2318TP-EI-DC) is a Layer 2 carrier-class access Ethernet switch designed for enterprise intranets and IP Metropolitan Area Networks . It delivers reliable, secure, and efficient network access with intelligent service support for VLAN, QoS, and advanced security protocols .
This switch is equipped with a fixed DC power supply module (-48V to -60V DC), making it particularly suitable for environments where DC power infrastructure is preferred or required, such as telecommunications base stations, data rooms, and critical facilities . The compact 1U form factor enables efficient deployment in space-constrained wiring closets and equipment cabinets.
The S2318TP-EI-DC provides 16 Fast Ethernet ports for user access and 2 Gigabit combo ports (RJ45/SFP) for uplink connectivity, delivering a cost-effective access switching solution for small to medium-sized enterprise networks, government networks, and industrial environments .
