Product Overview
The Huawei S5700-28X-LI-24S-DC is a next-generation, energy-saving Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for high-bandwidth access and Ethernet multi-service aggregation. It belongs to the S5700-LI series of simplified Gigabit enterprise switches, built on Huawei’s high-performance hardware architecture and the Versatile Routing Platform (VRP).
This model features 24 x GE SFP ports, 4 x Combo 10/100/1000Base-T Ethernet ports, and 4 x 10GE SFP+ uplink ports (10GE/GE auto-sensing). It delivers a switching capacity of 256 Gbps and a forwarding performance of 96 Mpps, making it well-suited for demanding network environments.
The S5700-LI series incorporates advanced energy-saving technologies including Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE), port power detection, dynamic CPU frequency adjustment, and device sleep mode, which reduce power consumption without compromising system performance. The switch supports Huawei Easy Operation – a solution that provides zero-touch deployment, USB-based deployment, batch configuration, and batch remote upgrade, significantly reducing operational and maintenance costs.
Key management and maintenance capabilities include SNMP v1/v2c/v3, Command Line Interface (CLI), web-based network management, and SSH V2.0, as well as RMON, multiple log hosts, and port traffic statistics collection.
The S5700-LI series is ideal for deployment as an access or aggregation switch in campus networks, or as a Gigabit access switch in Internet Data Centers (IDCs). The DC-powered model is specifically designed for environments where DC power infrastructure is available, supporting a rated voltage range of -48 V DC to -60 V DC.
