Product Overview
The Huawei S5700-28P-LI-AC is a next-generation energy-efficient Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for enterprise campus networks, serving as an access or aggregation layer device, as well as for IDC Gigabit access scenarios. It features a compact, fanless box-type design with a non-modular structure, delivering 24 x 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet electrical ports and 4 x 1000BASE-X SFP optical ports for flexible fiber connectivity.
Built on Huawei’s versatile VRP (Versatile Routing Platform) and operating at Layer 2, the switch provides a switching capacity of 256 Gbps and a forwarding performance of up to 96 Mpps. It supports up to 4K VLANs, comprehensive QoS traffic scheduling, IGMP multicast management, and robust security features including 802.1X authentication, port isolation, MAC address binding, and DoS attack defense.
The device supports both AC and DC power inputs for flexible deployment scenarios. Its fanless design ensures silent operation, making it suitable for office environments. Network management is facilitated through multiple interfaces including SNMPv1/v2c/v3, CLI, Telnet, WEB-based management, and Huawei’s eSight network management system.
The S5700-28P-LI-AC incorporates energy-efficient technologies including IEEE 802.3az Energy-Efficient Ethernet (EEE), allowing the switch to reduce power consumption during periods of low traffic activity.
