Huawei S5700-24TP-PWR-SI – Product Documentation
Product Overview
The Huawei S5700-24TP-PWR-SI is a Gigabit Ethernet Layer 3 switch designed for enterprise network access and aggregation layers. As part of the S5700 series, this switch delivers high-density, high-performance packet forwarding capabilities with a strong focus on reliability, security, and service quality.
The switch features 24 ports in total, consisting of 20 PoE+ 10/100/1000BASE-T downlink ports and 4 combo ports (10/100/1000BASE-T (PoE+) + 100/1000BASE-X) for uplink connectivity. It supports IEEE 802.3af and 802.3at PoE standards, with a maximum PoE power budget of up to 740W.
With a switching capacity of 256 Gbit/s and a forwarding performance of 36 Mpps, the S5700-24TP-PWR-SI provides wire-speed Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding. The switch supports dedicated stacking via stack cards, offering 48 Gbps bidirectional stacking bandwidth. It is equipped with dual power module slots that can accommodate 500 W or 250 W power modules.
Key software capabilities include comprehensive VLAN support (up to 4K VLANs), IPv4/IPv6 dual stack for smooth network transition, advanced QoS with multiple queue scheduling algorithms, and robust security features including 802.1x authentication and DoS attack prevention. The switch also supports MPLS and VLL functions, making it a cost-effective MPLS access device for enterprise private line services.
