Product Overview
The Huawei S2700-9TP-PWR-EI-AC is a Layer 2 smart managed PoE switch designed for enterprise access network deployments. It belongs to Huawei’s S2700 series of energy-efficient Ethernet access switches, built on Huawei’s VRP (Versatile Routing Platform) software platform.
This switch features eight 10/100BASE-TX PoE+ ports and one Gigabit combo port (10/100/1000BASE-T electrical + 100/1000BASE-X optical SFP). The combo port provides deployment flexibility, allowing the use of either copper or fiber uplink connectivity.
The built-in AC power module delivers up to 124W of PoE power output, enabling the switch to provide full PoE power to all eight ports simultaneously. With a switching capacity of 32 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 2.7 Mpps, the S2700-9TP-PWR-EI-AC is well-suited for small to medium-sized enterprise networks requiring both data connectivity and Power over Ethernet capabilities.
The switch supports comprehensive security features including 802.1X authentication, dynamic ARP inspection, IP Source Guard, and AAA authentication via RADIUS and HWTACACS+. Advanced QoS capabilities include port-based and flow-based rate limiting, multiple queue scheduling algorithms (SP, WRR, SP+WRR), and traffic classification based on L2/L3/L4 headers. Management options include CLI, Telnet, SNMP v1/v2/v3, RMON, and web-based management.
