Product Overview
The Huawei S3700-28TP-PWR-EI-AC is a Layer 3 Fast Ethernet switch designed for enterprise network deployments. It operates at 10/100 Mbps transmission speeds and features Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities, making it ideal for environments requiring both network connectivity and power delivery to end devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and surveillance cameras.
This switch offers 28 ports in total, comprising 24 10/100Base-TX ports, 2 1000Base-X SFP ports, and 2 Gigabit combo ports (10/100/1000Base-T or 100/1000Base-X). With a switching capacity of 64 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 9.6 Mpps, it delivers robust performance for medium-sized business networks. The switch supports PoE+ with a total power budget of 875W and a PoE output capacity of 740W, enabling simultaneous power delivery to multiple connected devices.
The S3700-28TP-PWR-EI-AC supports comprehensive Layer 3 routing functions, including static routing, RIPv1, RIPv2, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and ECMP. It features 4K VLAN support with advanced VLAN capabilities including Guest VLAN, Voice VLAN, Super VLAN, QinQ, flexible QinQ, and VLAN mapping based on MAC addresses, protocols, and IP subnets. The switch also provides IPv6 support with neighbor discovery (ND), path MTU (PMTU), IPv6 ping, IPv6 tracert, IPv6 Telnet, and tunneling protocols including 6to4 and ISATAP.
With built-in reliability features such as RRPP (ring topology protection with sub-50ms switchover), Smart Link, STP/RSTP/MSTP, and BFD support for OSPF, IS-IS, VRRP, and PIM, the switch ensures high network availability. Advanced QoS capabilities include port-based traffic policing, dual-rate three-color CAR, 8 priority queues per port, and multiple queue scheduling algorithms (WRR, DRR, SP, WRR+SP, DRR+SP).
