Huawei S1720-52GWR-PWR-4P-E-AC Switch – Product Overview & Specifications
Product Overview
The Huawei S1720-52GWR-PWR-4P-E-AC is a Gigabit Ethernet access switch from the Huawei S1700 series, designed for deployment at the access layer of enterprise networks. It delivers cost-effective packet switching capability while providing multi-service access, excellent extensibility, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee, powerful multicast replication, and carrier-class security. The switch is suitable for various scenarios, including Gigabit Ethernet access to enterprise networks and Gigabit-to-desktop deployments, helping build future-oriented IT networks for enterprises.
The switch features 48 PoE+ 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and 4 Gigabit SFP uplink ports, with a fixed AC power supply. The built-in power module provides 370W of PoE power, ensuring full PoE power on 24 ports in compliance with IEEE 802.3af or on 12 ports in compliance with IEEE 802.3at. With a switching capacity of 336 Gbit/s and a forwarding performance of 78 Mpps, the S1720-52GWR-PWR-4P-E-AC delivers robust performance for enterprise access networking.
The switch supports a comprehensive range of features including IPv4 and IPv6 static routing, link aggregation with up to 64 LAGs, port mirroring, VLAN segmentation (up to 4K VLANs), and multiple spanning tree protocols (STP/RSTP/MSTP). Security features include hardware ACL packet filtering, MAC address authentication, port-based 802.1x authentication, RADIUS authentication, Portal authentication, port isolation, storm suppression, and DHCP snooping.
