Product Overview
The Huawei OceanStor 5300 V5 is a next-generation mid-range hybrid flash storage system that delivers enterprise-class data services with a balanced combination of flash performance and HDD capacity economics. Part of the OceanStor 5000 V5 series, it features a cloud-ready operating system, flash-optimized performance, and intelligent management software, achieving leading capabilities in functionality, performance, efficiency, reliability, and ease of use.
Designed to satisfy the data storage requirements of large-database Online Transaction Processing (OLTP)/Online Analytical Processing (OLAP), cloud computing, virtualization, and various other applications, the OceanStor 5300 V5 is a natural fit for government, finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, and other sectors with mid-range storage requirements.
The system delivers multi-level convergence through a gateway-free converged active-active solution that guarantees 24/7 stable operations for services, while system efficiency is doubled thanks to the convergence of Storage Area Network (SAN) and Network-Attached Storage (NAS) alongside heterogeneous systems, with primary and backup storage. The flash system design ensures rapid response to core services, with outstanding scalability that supports up to 16 controllers, enabling million-level IOPS performance.
Huawei’s OceanStor 5300 V5 employs the eService intelligent management system throughout the entire lifecycle (planning, design, operation, and maintenance), accelerating cloud transformation of enterprises with hybrid cloud solutions.
