The Huawei CloudEngine CE6870-48T6CQ-EI is a next-generation, high-performance Top-of-Rack (ToR) switch specifically engineered for modern data centers and high-end campus networks. It delivers high-density 10GE access with low latency and a deep buffer architecture.
This 1U fixed-form-factor switch features 48 x 10GE BASE-T ports for high-density server access and 6 x 100GE QSFP28 uplink ports that can also operate as 40GE QSFP+ ports, providing flexible and high-bandwidth connectivity to the core network . The 4 GB distributed buffer effectively absorbs traffic bursts common in video and search services, ensuring consistent performance .
Built on Huawei’s VRP8 software platform, the CE6870-48T6CQ-EI supports advanced data center features, including VXLAN, BGP-EVPN, and M-LAG for enhanced virtualization, scalability, and link reliability .
