Product Overview

The Dell PowerEdge T130 is a single-socket tower server designed for small office/home office (SOHO) and small to medium business (SMB) environments seeking a reliable first server or replacement for collaboration and productivity applications. It features a compact mini-tower form factor housing an Intel C236 chipset, supporting one processor from the Intel Xeon E3-1200 v6 (and v5) series, as well as Intel Core i3, Pentium, and Celeron options. The platform accommodates up to 64 GB of DDR4 UDIMM memory across four DIMM slots and supports up to four 3.5-inch internal cabled hard drives.

With four PCIe 3.0 expansion slots (one x8, two x4, and one x1) and dual embedded 1 GbE LOM ports, the T130 provides flexible I/O expandability for various business needs. The system supports a range of operating systems including Microsoft Windows Server, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, VMware vSphere ESXi, and SUSE Linux Enterprise Server. Management capabilities are provided through the integrated Dell Remote Access Controller 8 (iDRAC8) with Lifecycle Controller, alongside Dell OpenManage Essentials and related management tools.
