Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine CE6860-SAN is a next-generation, high-density data center storage network switch purpose-built for all-flash storage arrays . As part of Huawei’s CloudEngine 6800 series, this switch delivers high performance, ultra-low latency, and carrier-class reliability for modern storage networks .
The CE6860-SAN features advanced hardware architecture offering dense 10GE/25GE/50GE port access with flexible 100GE/200GE uplink capabilities . It leverages Huawei’s proprietary iLossless intelligent algorithm to ensure lossless Ethernet performance, enabling NVMe storage systems to operate at peak efficiency and fully unlocking the potential of all-flash storage . When paired with Huawei OceanStor Dorado all-flash storage arrays, the end-to-end latency can reach as low as 0.05 ms .
The switch supports NOF+ (NVMe Over Fabric Plus) technology, enabling plug-and-play storage network deployment, rapid host discovery, and end-to-end visualization of links and performance . With support for advanced data center features including VXLAN, BGP EVPN, and M-LAG, the CE6860-SAN integrates seamlessly into software-defined networks managed by Huawei iMaster NCE-Fabric .
