The Huawei CloudEngine CE6810-48S-LI is a next-generation 10GE Top-of-Rack (ToR) switch designed for high-performance data centers and cloud computing environments . As part of the CE6800 series, this model delivers 48 x 10GE SFP+ ports in a compact 1U form factor, providing dense fiber connectivity for server access and aggregation layers .
Built on Huawei’s VRP8 software platform, the switch supports advanced data center features including TRILL, M-LAG, and Super Virtual Fabric (SVF) for network virtualization and scalability . The CE6810-48S-LI integrates with Huawei’s Agile Controller to enable dynamic network policy deployment, online VM migration awareness, and automated service provisioning . With support for FCoE and data center bridging (DCBX, PFC, ETS), the switch enables converged network and storage traffic on a single infrastructure .
The device features modular, hot-swappable power and fan units with field-replaceable airflow direction options (front-to-back or back-to-front), allowing flexible thermal design for different rack configurations .
