Product Overview
The Huawei S5700-48TP-SI-DC is a gigabit Layer 3 Ethernet switch designed for enterprise campus networks and data center access deployments. It belongs to the S5700-SI series and is built on Huawei’s新一代 high-performance hardware architecture combined with the Versatile Routing Platform (VRP).
This switch offers 48 Ethernet 10/100/1000 ports, 4 of which are dual-purpose 10/100/1000 or SFP ports, providing flexible connectivity options for diverse network environments. With a switching capacity of 256 Gbps and a forwarding performance of 72 Mpps, the S5700-48TP-SI-DC delivers robust throughput for bandwidth-intensive applications.
The S5700-48TP-SI-DC supports extensive Layer 2 and Layer 3 features, including VLAN (up to 4K VLANs), QoS, multicast management, and comprehensive security mechanisms such as ACL, 802.1X authentication, and SSH v2.0. It also supports stacking, allowing network administrators to scale capacity and simplify management through a single logical device.
Designed with energy efficiency in mind, the switch incorporates intelligent fan control and advanced power management to reduce operational costs. The DC power input model (-48V to -60V) makes it suitable for telecommunications and data center environments where DC power distribution is preferred.
