Product Overview
The Huawei S1720-28GWR-PWR-4X-E-AC is a next-generation, energy-efficient fully-managed enterprise switch designed for deployment at the access layer of enterprise networks. It delivers cost-effective packet switching capabilities while providing multi-service access, excellent extensibility, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantees, powerful multicast replication, and carrier-class security.
The switch features 24 PoE+ 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and 4 10GE SFP+ uplink ports, offering high-density Gigabit Ethernet access with 10 Gigabit uplink connectivity. With a built-in power module capable of delivering 370W PoE power, it can provide full PoE power on all 24 ports in compliance with IEEE 802.3af, or on 12 ports in compliance with IEEE 802.3at (PoE+).
Designed with energy efficiency in mind, the S1720-28GWR-PWR-4X-E-AC allows ports to enter low-power idle states to significantly reduce power consumption. It adopts a fan-free design for silent operation and low overall power consumption. The switch supports multiple management methods including web-based management, SNMP, and command-line interface (CLI), making it ideal for small to medium-sized businesses, Internet cafes, hotels, schools, and similar environments.
