Huawei S1720-28GWR-4P-AC Switch – Product Data Sheet

Product Overview

The Huawei S1720-28GWR-4P-AC is a next-generation energy‑saving Ethernet access switch belonging to the Huawei S1700 series. It is designed for deployment at the access layer of enterprise networks, delivering cost‑effective packet switching capability with multi‑service access, excellent extensibility, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee, powerful multicast replication, and carrier‑class security.

The switch features 24 x 10/100/1000BASE‑T Ethernet ports and 4 x Gigabit SFP ports, providing flexible Gigabit connectivity for desktop access and uplink aggregation. With a switching capacity of 68 Gbit/s and a forwarding performance of 42 Mpps, it ensures non‑blocking line‑rate forwarding across all ports.

The S1720‑28GWR‑4P‑AC is a web‑managed switch that can be upgraded to a fully‑managed model (supporting web, SNMP, and CLI) by purchasing a license. It adopts a fan‑free design for silent operation and low power consumption, making it ideal for small to medium‑sized businesses, Internet cafes, hotels, schools, and other enterprise environments.
