Huawei CloudEngine S6750-H48Y8C – Product Documentation
Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine S6750-H48Y8C is a next-generation enterprise-class 25 GE core and aggregation switch belonging to the CloudEngine S6750-H series. It is designed for high-performance core and aggregation layer deployments in large-scale enterprise campuses, universities, data centers, and other demanding network environments.
This switch features 48 x 1/10/25 GE SFP28 downlink ports and 8 x 40/100 GE QSFP28 uplink ports. The 40/100 GE uplink ports support splitting into 4 x 10 GE or 4 x 25 GE ports for flexible deployment. The switch supports dual pluggable power modules with 1+1 power backup and five pluggable fan modules with redundancy configuration, ensuring carrier-class reliability and always-on services.
Built on Huawei’s industry-leading software and hardware platforms, the CloudEngine S6750-H48Y8C is purpose-built with security, IoT, and cloud in mind. It supports VXLAN for network virtualization with distributed and centralized gateways, BGP-EVPN, and NETCONF-based configuration, enabling automated deployment of virtual networks and achieving “one network for multiple purposes”. The switch also supports SRv6 and network slicing technologies, providing ultimate user experience and carrier-class reliability. With iPCA (IFIT – In-situ Flow Information Telemetry) technology, real-time statistics on packet loss, latency, and other performance metrics are collected directly from service packets at both network and device levels. The switch supports MACsec encryption on ports, enabling end-to-end encrypted networking for enhanced security. Additionally, it supports cloud management across the full lifecycle from planning, deployment, monitoring, experience visibility, and fault rectification to network optimization.
With a forwarding performance of 3000 Mpps and a switching capacity of 8 Tbps / 80 Tbps, the CloudEngine S6750-H48Y8C is widely used at the aggregation layer of large-scale campus networks or at the core layer of small- and medium-sized campus networks in industries such as transportation, manufacturing, and education.
