Huawei CloudEngine S6730-S24X6Q-AC – Product Documentation
Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine S6730-S24X6Q-AC is a next-generation enterprise-class 10 GE fixed switch belonging to the CloudEngine S6730-S series. It is designed to provide high-speed 10 Gbit/s access to high-density servers and Wi-Fi 6 access points, while also functioning as a core or aggregation switch on campus networks with 40 Gbit/s uplink rates.
This switch features 24 x 10 GE SFP+ downlink ports and 6 x 40 GE QSFP+ uplink ports. It supports dual pluggable power modules with 1+1 power backup for enhanced reliability, and comes equipped with one 600 W AC power module by default. The switch also features 4 pluggable fan modules with intelligent fan speed adjustment.
Built on Huawei’s unified software platform, the CloudEngine S6730-S24X6Q-AC delivers a rich set of Intent-Driven Network (IDN) features. It supports VXLAN for network virtualization with L2 and L3 gateways, centralized and distributed gateways, and BGP-EVPN, enabling automated deployment of virtual networks and reducing operational expenditure. The Super Virtual Fabric (SVF) feature allows the switch to function as a parent node, vertically managing downstream switches and access points as a single device for simplified management. With iPCA technology, real-time statistics on packet loss are collected at both network and device levels. The switch also supports Telemetry for real-time device data collection, which can be integrated with Huawei’s iMaster NCE-CampusInsight network analyzer for intelligent network operations and proactive fault detection.
With a forwarding performance of 490 Mpps and a switching capacity of 960 Gbit/s / 2.4 Tbit/s, the CloudEngine S6730-S24X6Q-AC is an ideal choice for building scalable, reliable, and secure campus and data center networks.
