Product Overview
The CloudEngine S12700E-4 is a next-generation flagship core switch from Huawei, purpose-built for high-end campus networks in the Wi-Fi 6 era. It is designed to deliver industry-leading data switching capacity and massive terminal access capabilities, making it an ideal choice for large-scale campus cores across government, finance, energy, and other industries.
The S12700E-4 features a control and forwarding separation architecture with 2 independent switch fabric units (SFUs), ensuring non-blocking switching and zero packet loss through advanced cell switching technology. It supports wired and wireless convergence, enabling a single device to manage over 50,000 wireless users and 10,240 wireless access points (APs). With a fully programmable Solar chipset, the switch allows service updates without hardware replacements and provides multiple open APIs for seamless integration with existing networks.
