Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine S6730-H48X6C-V2 is a next-generation enterprise-class 10 GE routing switch belonging to the CloudEngine S6730-H-V2 series. It is designed for high-performance core and aggregation layer deployments in enterprise campuses, universities, data centers, and other large-scale network environments.
This switch features 48 x 1/10 Gig SFP+ downlink ports and 6 x 40/100 Gig QSFP28 uplink ports. All uplink ports support 40 GE by default and can be upgraded to 100 GE through optional right-to-use (RTU) licenses, providing future-proof scalability without hardware replacement. The switch supports dual pluggable power modules with 1+1 power backup for enhanced reliability.
Built on Huawei’s unified software platform, the CloudEngine S6730-H48X6C-V2 delivers a rich set of Intent-Driven Network (IDN) features. It supports VXLAN for network virtualization, enabling “one network for multiple purposes” and reducing deployment and operational costs. The free mobility feature ensures a consistent user experience regardless of user location or IP address. With Telemetry technology, device data is collected in real time and, when combined with Huawei’s CampusInsight network analyzer, enables intelligent network operations and rapid problem detection. The switch also supports cloud management across the full lifecycle from planning and deployment to monitoring and optimization.
With a forwarding performance of 490 Mpps and a switching capacity of 2.16 Tbps/2.4 Tbps, the CloudEngine S6730-H48X6C-V2 is an ideal choice for building next-generation IoT-converged networks with excellent cost-effectiveness, flexibility, and scalability.
