Product Overview
The Huawei S5700-28C-HI-24S-AC is an advanced Gigabit Ethernet switch belonging to the S5700-HI series, designed for enterprise campus networks and data center access deployments. Built on Huawei’s next-generation high-performance hardware architecture and the Versatile Routing Platform (VRP), this switch provides flexible Gigabit access with 24 fixed 100/1000BASE-X SFP ports, plus one extended slot for optional uplink/subcard modules.
The switch supports a wide range of subcard options including 4×1000Base-X SFP, 2×10GE SFP+, and 4×10GE SFP+ interface cards, enabling flexible network design and bandwidth upgrades. With dual hot-swappable AC/DC power supply support, the S5700-28C-HI-24S-AC delivers carrier-class reliability for mission-critical environments.
The device offers comprehensive L2/L3 features including static routing, RIPv1/v2, OSPF, IS-IS, BGP, and ECMP. It also provides mature IPv6 support, extensive multicast capabilities (IGMP v1/v2/v3 snooping, PIM-SM/DM/SSM), and advanced QoS/ACL functions for traffic management and security. The switch supports Multi-Protocol Label Switching (MPLS), VLL, VPLS, and L3VPN, making it a cost-effective MPLS access switch for enterprise private line services.
