Product Overview
The Huawei S3700-52P-EI-48S-DC is an enterprise-class Layer 3 managed Ethernet switch designed for medium to large enterprise network deployments. This switch provides both Layer 2 switching and advanced Layer 3 routing functionalities, making it a versatile solution for complex network architectures.
The device features a non-modular fixed port configuration with 52 ports in total, comprising 48 Fast Ethernet (FE) SFP ports, 2 dual-speed 100/1000Base-X SFP ports, and 2 Gigabit Ethernet (GE) 1000Base-X SFP ports. All SFP ports are hot-swappable, providing flexibility in network configuration and allowing for easy media and distance adaptation.
With a switching capacity of 64 Gbps and a packet forwarding rate of 13.2 Mpps, the S3700-52P-EI-48S-DC delivers robust performance for data-intensive environments. The switch operates on a DC power supply ranging from -48V to -60V.
The S3700 series supports comprehensive Layer 3 features including static routing, RIPv1, RIPv2, and ECMP (Equal-Cost Multi-Path routing). It also offers advanced Quality of Service (QoS) capabilities with support for 8 priority queues per port and multiple queue scheduling algorithms including WRR, DRR, SP, WRR+SP, and DRR+SP. The switch supports up to 4K VLANs with flexible VLAN assignment based on MAC address, protocol, or IP subnet, as well as Guest VLAN, Voice VLAN, and Super VLAN functionalities.
Additional features include iStack intelligent stacking technology for simplified network management, comprehensive IPv6 support including ISATAP tunnels and IPv6-based ACLs, robust multicast management with IGMP snooping, and extensive security features including AAA authentication, RADIUS, HWTACACS+, port isolation, and MAC address binding.
