Huawei S3700-28TP-PWR-SI-AC Switch – Product Documentation
Product Overview
The Huawei S3700-28TP-PWR-SI-AC is a next-generation energy-saving Layer 3 Fast Ethernet switch designed for enterprise campus network access and aggregation scenarios. Built on Huawei’s cutting-edge hardware architecture and the Versatile Routing Platform (VRP) software, this switch delivers high-performance packet forwarding with a switching capacity of 64 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 9.6 Mpps.
This model features 24 10/100Base-TX PoE-enabled ports, providing Power over Ethernet (PoE) capabilities to power connected devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and security cameras directly through the network cable. It supports both IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+) standards, with a maximum PoE power budget of up to 370W.
The switch is equipped with 2 x 1000Base-X SFP ports and 2 x Gigabit combo ports (10/100/1000Base-T or 100/1000Base-X), offering flexible uplink connectivity options. It supports 4K VLANs, comprehensive IPv6 features, and advanced QoS capabilities with eight priority queues per port and multiple queue scheduling algorithms.
The S3700-28TP-PWR-SI-AC incorporates robust security features including DoS attack defense, ARP attack defense, IP-MAC-port-VLAN binding, port isolation, and port security. Reliability is enhanced through support for RRPP (Ring Rapid Protection Protocol) with sub-50 ms protection switchover, Smart Link, and STP/RSTP/MSTP protocols.
With its fixed internal AC power supply (100–240V), compact 1U form factor (43.6 x 442 x 220 mm), and comprehensive Layer 2 with basic Layer 3 routing capabilities, the S3700-28TP-PWR-SI-AC provides an ideal solution for enterprises building next-generation IT networks that require reliable PoE-powered access, flexible VLAN deployment, and seamless IPv6 migration.
