Huawei S2720-28TP-PWR-EI-L-AC Switch – Product Information
Product Overview
The Huawei S2720-28TP-PWR-EI-L-AC is a next-generation energy-saving 100 Mbps intelligent Ethernet switch from the S2700 series. It is designed for enterprise campus access scenarios, featuring a flexible combination of 100 Mbps and Gigabit Ethernet ports to support 100M-to-the-desktop and GE uplink transmission.
Built on Huawei’s Versatile Routing Platform (VRP) software and utilizing cutting-edge switching technologies, this switch delivers rich Layer 3 routing protocols including RIP, RIPng, and OSPF, offering leading routing performance in the 100M switch segment. It supports 8 PoE+ ports with a total PoE power budget of 124W, enabling direct power delivery to connected devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.
The switch supports iStack intelligent stacking, which improves device reliability and scalability while significantly reducing O&M costs by enabling unified configuration and management of the entire stack system. It can also operate as a client in a Super Virtual Fabric (SVF) system.
Key capabilities include comprehensive VLAN features (4K VLANs, VLAN assignment based on MAC addresses, protocols, IP subnets, policies, and interfaces, port-based QinQ), multi-layer security features (port isolation, 802.1X authentication, blackhole MAC addresses), and robust QoS/ACL functions with eight queues per interface and multiple scheduling algorithms. The switch is easy to install and maintain, with support for flexible VLAN deployment and comprehensive security and QoS policies.
