Product Overview

The Huawei S1720X-32XWR-AC is a next-generation energy-saving Ethernet access switch from the Huawei S1700 series. Equipped with 32 x 10GE SFP+ ports and a fixed AC power supply, this Layer 3 managed switch is designed for high-performance enterprise aggregation and data center environments.

The S1720X-32XWR-AC is deployed at the access layer of enterprise networks to deliver cost-effective packet switching capability. It provides multi-service access capabilities, excellent extensibility, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee, powerful multicast replication, and carrier-class security, and can be used to build ring topologies of high reliability. The switch is ideal for small to medium-sized businesses, Internet cafes, hotels, schools, and other scenarios requiring GE access to enterprise networks and GE-to-desktop connectivity.

The switch features a built-in AC power module (non-pluggable) and three built-in fans for forced air cooling, with airflow entering from the left side and front panel and exhausting from the right side. It supports web-based network management, DHCP client, and one-key restoration, and can be upgraded from a web-managed model to a fully-managed model (supporting web/SNMP management) by purchasing a license.
