Product Overview
The Huawei S1720-28GWR-PWR-4P-AC is a web-managed Gigabit Ethernet switch from the Huawei S1700 series, designed for deployment at the access layer of enterprise networks. It delivers cost-effective packet switching capability with multi-service access, excellent extensibility, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee, powerful multicast replication, and carrier-class security.
This switch is ideally suited for small to medium-sized businesses, Internet cafes, hotels, schools, and other Ethernet access scenarios. It features 24 x 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports and 4 x Gigabit SFP ports, providing flexible connectivity for both copper and fiber uplinks. The built-in power supply supports Power over Ethernet (PoE+), delivering up to 369.6W of PoE budget to power connected devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones.
Key management and security features include support for up to 4K VLANs, static routing (IPv4 and IPv6), link aggregation, port mirroring, storm suppression, DHCP snooping, and multiple authentication methods including MAC-based, 802.1x, RADIUS, and Portal authentication. The switch can be easily managed through a web-based graphical interface, with the option to upgrade to a fully-managed model via license purchase.
