Product Overview

The Huawei S1720-28GWR-4X-E-AC is a high-performance, enterprise-grade managed Ethernet switch from Huawei’s S1700 series. Designed for small to medium-sized businesses, this switch delivers cost-effective packet switching capability with advanced features suitable for enterprise network access layer deployments.

The switch features 24 x 10/100/1000BASE-T Ethernet ports and 4 x 10GE SFP+ uplink ports, providing flexible connectivity for both copper-based device connections and high-speed fiber-optic uplinks. The 10GE SFP+ ports support a variety of optical modules including GE optical modules, GE-CWDM/DWDM optical modules, GE copper transceivers, 10GE SFP+ optical modules (maximum transmission distance ≤ 10 km), and GPON optical modules.

The S1700 series offers multi-service access capabilities, excellent extensibility, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee, powerful multicast replication, and carrier-class security. It can be used to build ring topologies of high reliability and is applicable to various scenarios, including Gigabit Ethernet access to enterprise networks and GE-to-desktop deployments, helping build future-oriented IT networks for enterprises.
