The Huawei S1720-10GW-PWR-2P-AC is a next-generation, energy-saving Layer 2 managed Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for small to medium-sized enterprises, educational institutions, hospitality networks, Internet cafes, and schools. As part of the Huawei S1700 series, it is deployed at the access layer of enterprise networks to deliver cost-effective packet switching capability with multi-service access, excellent extensibility, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee, powerful multicast replication, and carrier-class security.
The switch features 8 x 10/100/1000BASE-T PoE+ ports and 2 x Gigabit SFP uplink ports, offering robust connectivity and scalability. With a total PoE power budget of 124W, it can power up to 8 ports in compliance with IEEE 802.3af or 4 ports in compliance with IEEE 802.3at (up to 30W per port). The built-in fixed AC power supply delivers reliable performance with a switching capacity of 68 Gbps and a forwarding rate of 15 Mpps.
