Product Overview
The FusionServer 2488H V6 is a high-performance 2U, 4-socket rack server engineered for compute-intensive enterprise workloads including cloud computing, virtualization, high-performance computing (HPC), database management, and SAP HANA deployments.
In virtualization scenarios, a single 2488H V6 delivers lower operational expenditure (OPEX) compared to two 2U, 2-socket rack servers, making it a cost-efficient consolidation platform. The system houses four 3rd Generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors within a compact 2U form factor, supporting up to 48 DDR4 DIMMs, 11 PCIe expansion slots, and flexible local storage configurations with up to 25 x 2.5″ drives.
The server incorporates patented technologies including Dynamic Energy Management Technology (DEMT) for intelligent power optimization and Fault Diagnosis & Management (FDM) for enhanced system reliability. It can be optionally configured with FusionDirector software for full lifecycle management, enabling automated operations and intelligent O&M capabilities.
