Product Overview

The Huawei FusionServer Pro 5288X V5 is a 4U, 2-socket rack server purpose-built for data-intensive workloads requiring massive local storage capacity. It targets scenarios such as warm/cold data tiering, historical data archiving, and large-scale content repositories .

This server balances high computational performance with exceptional storage density. Within its 4U chassis, it supports up to two Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors (1st or 2nd generation), 24 DDR4 memory slots, and a flexible drive configuration that accommodates up to 38 x 3.5-inch drives plus 6 x 2.5-inch drives (with support for up to 4 NVMe SSDs) .

The system integrates Huawei’s DEMT intelligent power management technology, which can reduce overall power consumption by up to 15% through component hibernation, PID-based fan speed control, and other energy-saving measures .
