The Huawei CloudEngine CE6855-48T6Q-HI is a high-performance, fixed-configuration 1U Top-of-Rack (ToR) switch purpose-built for modern data centers and high-end campus networks . Built on the Huawei VRP8 software platform, it provides high-density 10GE BASE-T access ports alongside 40GE QSFP+ uplinks, delivering a switching capacity of 1.44 Tbit/s and a forwarding rate of 1080 Mpps .
This model is designed to support network virtualization and cloud integration with advanced features such as VXLAN, BGP-EVPN, and TRILL, enabling the construction of large-scale, elastic Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks . It also supports iStack, which allows up to 16 units to be virtualized into a single logical device, simplifying management and increasing scalability . With flexible airflow (front-to-back or back-to-front), redundant and hot-swappable power supplies and fans, it is engineered for high availability and serviceability in demanding data center environments .
