The Huawei CloudEngine CE6860-48S8CQ-EI is a next-generation, high-performance 25G Ethernet switch purpose-built for modern data centers and high-end campus networks . As part of the CloudEngine 6800 series, this 1U fixed-form-factor switch delivers an optimal balance of high-density 25GE server access and high-speed 100GE uplink connectivity, making it ideal for spine-leaf architectures in cloud computing and big data environments .

The switch features 48 x 10/25GE SFP28 access ports and 8 x 40/100GE QSFP28 uplink ports, providing industry-leading 25GE port density among 1U Top-of-Rack (ToR) switches . Built on Huawei’s VRP8 software platform, it supports extensive data center service features including VXLAN routing and bridging, BGP-EVPN, MPLS, and TRILL for large Layer 2 network scalability .
