Product Overview
The Huawei OceanStor 5310 is a capacity-optimized all-flash storage system designed to deliver enterprise-grade data services with exceptional cost efficiency and energy savings. Built on Huawei’s proprietary FlashLink® intelligent algorithms and an innovative data-control plane separation architecture, the system provides high-performance storage for virtualization, file sharing, resource integration, disaster recovery (DR), backup, and archiving scenarios.
The system leverages high-density capacity-optimized NVMe SSDs, reducing energy consumption by 60% and physical space by 92% compared to HDD-based solutions of equivalent capacity, making it an ideal choice for enterprises with power-constrained equipment rooms. With end-to-end self-developed capabilities and the industry-unique NFS+ NAS multipathing software, the OceanStor 5310 delivers up to 30% higher general performance and 4x higher file performance compared to mainstream peer storage products.
Supporting block, file, and object storage protocols alongside VAAI and CSI plugins, a single system meets diverse application requirements across government, finance, healthcare, education, energy, and manufacturing sectors. The system also provides comprehensive intelligent management tools capable of performance evaluation 60 days in advance and capacity expansion evaluation 365 days in advance, enabling proactive upgrade planning and intelligent O&M.
