Product Overview

The Huawei FusionServer CX5200 V5 is a high-performance 4U rack-mounted GPU server purpose-built for artificial intelligence (AI), high-performance computing (HPC), cloud computing, and big data processing workloads. Designed as a heterogeneous computing platform, it excels in AI inference and training, HPC heterogeneous computing, and graphics rendering applications.

At the heart of the CX5200 V5 are one or two Intel Xeon Scalable processors from the Skylake and Cascade Lake families, delivering up to 28 cores per CPU with a maximum thermal design power (TDP) of 205W. The server supports up to eight dual-width GPU cards across nine PCIe 3.0 expansion slots, making it exceptionally well-suited for parallel computing workloads. Memory capacity is supported by 12 DDR4 DIMM slots operating at speeds up to 2933 MT/s.

The system features onboard networking with two 10GE optical ports and two GE electrical ports, along with flexible storage options supporting up to eight front-accessible 2.5-inch SATA hot-swappable drives with RAID 0/1/10/5 support. Redundant power supplies (1+1 or 2+0 configurations) with 2000W AC Platinum efficiency and N+1 redundant hot-swappable fans ensure high system availability and operational reliability. The integrated BMC management chip provides comprehensive remote management capabilities through Redfish, SNMP, and IPMI2.0 interfaces.
