Product Overview

The Huawei CloudEngine CE6850-48S4Q-EI is a high-performance, fixed-configuration Top-of-Rack (TOR) data center switch designed for next-generation, high-density 10GbE network deployments . As part of the CloudEngine 6800 series, this switch is purpose-built to meet the demanding requirements of modern data centers and high-end campus networks, offering a compact form factor that delivers superior throughput and energy efficiency .

The CE6850-48S4Q-EI is equipped with 48 x 10GE SFP+ Ethernet optical ports for high-density server access and 4 x 40GE QSFP+ Ethernet optical ports for flexible, high-bandwidth uplink connectivity . Its 40GE ports support splitting into four 10GE ports, enabling even greater flexibility in network design . This model features a 1.28 Tbps switching capacity and a forwarding rate of 960 Mpps .
