Based on IBM POWER8 technology, IBM 8284-22A and 8247-22L servers offer 1× or 2× POWER8 DCM (6, 10, 12 or 20 cores) in a 19”, 2U configuration. The powerful S822 8284-22A offers flexible I/O configuration as well as a choice of storage features and up to 1024GB of memory. Ideal for big data and analytics, the IBM S822L Model 8247-22L also offers a choice of storage features, plus hot-swap PCI Gen3 slots and up to 1024GB memory.
