The Huawei S1720-52GWR-PWR-4P-AC is a next-generation energy-saving Gigabit Ethernet access switch belonging to the Huawei S1700 series. It is designed for deployment at the access layer of enterprise networks, delivering cost-effective packet switching capability with high-performance hardware and rich service features.

The switch provides 48 PoE+ 10/100/1000BASE-T downlink ports and 4 1000BASE-X Ethernet SFP uplink ports, offering high-density Gigabit access with flexible fiber uplink options. With a switching capacity of 336 Gbit/s and a forwarding performance of 78 Mpps, the S1720-52GWR-PWR-4P-AC ensures non-blocking wire-speed forwarding across all ports.

The switch supports Power over Ethernet Plus (PoE+), delivering up to 369.6W of PoE budget to power connected devices such as IP phones, wireless access points, and IP cameras. It incorporates Energy Efficient Ethernet (EEE) technology, which enables the switch to enter a power-saving mode during low traffic periods and adjust power output based on cable length.

The S1720-52GWR-PWR-4P-AC offers comprehensive Layer 2 features including VLAN (4K VLANs), STP/RSTP/MSTP, link aggregation (LACP), and port mirroring.
