Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine S6730-S48X6Q-V2 is a next-generation enterprise-class 10 GE aggregation and access switch belonging to the CloudEngine S6730-S-V2 series. It is designed to provide high-performance, high-reliability, cloud-managed, and intelligent O&M capabilities for enterprise campuses, universities, and other large-scale network environments.
This switch features 48 x 1/10 GE SFP+ downlink ports and 6 x 40/100 GE QSFP28 uplink ports. All uplink ports support 40 GE by default and can be upgraded to 100 GE through optional right-to-use (RTU) licenses, providing future-proof scalability without hardware replacement. The switch supports dual pluggable power modules with 1+1 power backup and four pluggable fan modules with intelligent fan speed adjustment for enhanced reliability and reduced O&M costs.
Built on Huawei’s unified software platform, the CloudEngine S6730-S48X6Q-V2 delivers a rich set of Intent-Driven Network (IDN) features. It supports VXLAN for network virtualization with distributed and centralized gateways, BGP-EVPN, and NETCONF-based configuration, enabling automated deployment of virtual networks and reducing operational expenditure. The free mobility feature ensures a consistent user experience regardless of user location or IP address, fully meeting enterprises’ demands for mobile office. With iPCA (Native-IP IFIT) technology, real-time statistics on packet loss and two-way latency measurement are collected at both network and device levels. The switch also supports cloud management across the full lifecycle from planning, deployment, monitoring, experience visibility, and fault rectification to network optimization.
With a forwarding performance of 490 Mpps and a switching capacity of 2.16 Tbps/2.4 Tbps, the CloudEngine S6730-S48X6Q-V2 is an ideal choice for building scalable, reliable, and secure campus and data center networks.
