IBM 00E2864 Overview

The IBM 00E2864 (Feature Code EN0W) is a high-performance, dual-port 10GbE (10 Gigabit Ethernet) 10GBase-T PCI Express (PCIe) Generation 2.0 x8 adapter. Designed primarily for IBM Power Systems (Power8 / Power7+ enterprise servers), it provides low-cost, high-speed connectivity over standard copper twisted-pair cabling.

It automatically senses and configures to run at speeds of 100 Mbps, 1 Gbps, or 10 Gbps, allowing a seamless migration from legacy RJ45 networks to 10GbE infrastructure.
