The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR860 is a 4U rack-mount, four-socket server designed for mission-critical workloads that demand high memory capacity, flexible storage, and robust I/O expansion. It scales from two to four Intel Xeon Scalable processors via a customer-installable processor and memory expansion tray, enabling a “pay-as-you-grow” approach that helps control initial costs while providing headroom for future growth.

The SR860 is well-suited for in-memory databases (such as SAP HANA), large transactional databases, server virtualization, enterprise resource planning, and data analytics.
