Product Overview
The FusionServer G6550 V8 is a next-generation flagship air-cooled AI server purpose-built for large-scale model training and inference workloads . Designed as a 6U rackmount system, it delivers exceptional performance by combining 5th Gen AMD EPYC™ 9005 Series processors with support for up to ten dual-width GPUs, making it an ideal platform for AI training, AI inference, High-Performance Computing (HPC), image/video analysis, and database acceleration .
The G6550 V8 features a modular architecture with high cohesion and low coupling among modules, enabling flexible reconfiguration and independent evolution . It supports flexible topology options—including pass-through and switch configurations—and accommodates GPUs with a maximum TDP of up to 600W . With advanced thermal management leveraging MPC algorithms for fan power optimization, robust redundancy across fans and power supplies, and comprehensive out-of-band management through the integrated iBMC, the G6550 V8 delivers the reliability, scalability, and operational efficiency required for demanding enterprise and cloud AI deployments .
