Huawei S1720-28GWR-PWR-4X-AC Switch – Product Overview & Specifications
Product Overview
The Huawei S1720-28GWR-PWR-4X-AC is a next-generation energy-efficient Ethernet access switch belonging to the Huawei S1700 series. Designed for deployment at the access layer of enterprise networks, it delivers cost-effective packet switching capability while providing multi-service access, excellent extensibility, Quality of Service (QoS) guarantee, powerful multicast replication, and carrier-class security.
The switch features 24 PoE+ 10/100/1000BASE-T ports and 4 10GE SFP+ uplink ports, making it suitable for various scenarios including Gigabit Ethernet access to enterprise networks and GE-to-desktop deployments. With a fixed AC power supply and built-in PoE+ capability, the S1720-28GWR-PWR-4X-AC can power connected devices such as wireless access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones directly through Ethernet cables.
The switch supports web-based network management, DHCP client functionality, and one-key restoration for simplified operation and maintenance. It offers comprehensive security features including MAC address authentication, 802.1x authentication, RADIUS authentication, Portal authentication, port isolation, and DHCP snooping.
