Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine CE16808-AH is a high-performance modular chassis switch belonging to the CloudEngine 16800 Series, designed for data center core, cloud computing infrastructure, and large-scale enterprise backbone networks. Built for the AI era, it features an embedded AI chip and uses the innovative iLossless intelligent algorithm to learn and train network-wide traffic in real time, implementing zero packet loss and end-to-end microsecond-level latency to achieve maximum throughput.
The switch chassis is 15.8U high and features an 8-slot architecture with service slots supporting flexible combinations of line processing units (LPUs). It includes 2 main processing unit (MPU) slots for 1:1 redundancy and 9 switching fabric unit (SFU) slots for N+M redundancy. The CE16808-AH supports AC and HVDC dual power input configurations with up to 10 power modules and a recommended N+1 redundant power architecture. It adopts a strict front-to-back airflow design, optimized for hot aisle/cold aisle data center layouts.
The CE16808-AH supports high-speed Ethernet evolution including 100GE, 200GE, and 400GE, enabling flexible data center expansion and seamless network scalability. It is widely deployed in spine-leaf architectures, hyperscale cloud platforms, high-performance computing environments, and telecom carrier-grade networks. The CloudEngine 16800 series provides up to 576 × 100GE, 576 × 40GE, 2,304 × 25GE, or 2,304 × 10GE line-rate ports.
