Product Overview
The Huawei CloudEngine CE8861-4C-EI is a high-performance, modular data center switch designed for core and spine layer deployments in modern cloud data center networks. As part of Huawei’s CloudEngine 8800 series, it delivers high-density 100GE/40GE/25GE/10GE connectivity with exceptional scalability and flexibility.
The CE8861-4C-EI features four subcard slots at the rear of the chassis, allowing flexible combinations of interface cards to meet diverse network requirements. It supports up to 32 × 100GE QSFP28, 64 × 40GE QSFP+, 128 × 25GE SFP28, 128 × 10GE SFP+, or 96 × 4/8/16G FC ports depending on the interface cards installed.
The switch chassis is supplied without fan boxes and power modules, which must be ordered separately based on deployment needs. It supports dual power modules with 1+1 redundancy for enhanced reliability. The CE8861-4C-EI is designed for seamless integration into data center environments, supporting advanced features including VXLAN routing and bridging, BGP EVPN, M-LAG, iStack stacking, and RoCE (v1 and v2) for lossless networking.
